God can be scary!

When God scares the Devil out of you.
We hear a lot these days about a gracious loving God who wants to fix all of our problems.  What happen to the God who struck a doubting Zacharias mute as a sign that his wife would bear a son who came to be known as John the baptist? (Luke 1:20)
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.  Proverbs 1:7

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
